. This is a great, free way to help your family save on college costs.
More than 240,000 students nationwide are now earning Tuition Rewards Points that can be redeemed for tuition discounts -- guaranteed minimum scholarships -- at participating private colleges.
Tuition Rewards Points are similar to Frequent Flyer Miles. Points give participating students an incentive to attend our member colleges, who are looking to recruit more or better students. A college’s normal admissions standards apply.
Member college include many well known universities such as Butler, Clark, Clarkson, Creighton, DePaul, Drexel, Duquesne, Farleigh-Dickenson, Lawrence, University of Dayton, University of San Diego, as well as other top-rated institutions from Maine to Hawaii.
In the Midwest, most of the top twenty-five regionally ranked colleges in the U.S. News are part of SAGE.®
They include Bradley, dominican University, Elmhurst College, Manchester College, Millikin University, North Central College, and Valparaiso.
Some of the best ranked Christian colleges in the Midwest are also members of SAGE. They include Bethel, Concordia, Grace College, Greenville College, Indiana Wesleyan, Judson University, Malone, Olivet Nazarene, Taylor University, and Trinity Christian.
The Tuition Rewards Points that you earn do not
affect a family’s financial aid eligibility and are not taxable (as they do not represent income).
Enrollment is easy. You fill out a form; your advisor sets up your account. Next, you receive an email from TuitionRewards.com. When you click on the link in the email and supply a user name and password, your account is “activated” -- and you receive the 500 Enrollment Bonus Points ($500 value). In addition, each student whom you enroll also earns 500 Points ($500 value). Students must be family members (children, stepchildren, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, etc.) who have not yet begun their senior year in high school.
Additional Tuition Rewards Points are awarded semi-annually as long as you remain a client. Consult your advisor for the applicable Reward formula.
The Rewards Points are awarded directly to your
Tuition Rewards account. You must transfer the Points to your students’ accounts on or before Aug. 31st of the year that they begin their senior year of high school. When your student applies to a member college, you need to submit a Rewards statement to the college at time of application. If your student does not attend a member college, re-claim the points within three years and transfer them to a younger enrolled student beneficiary.
